Handstand Workshop

Lots of handstands, shapes and drills.
Let’s aim for 100 handstands in 5 hours?
In this workshop, Sara and Jules want to invite you to feel the diversity of upside-down movements.
We are excited to share different handstand techniques, prehab exercises, fun handstand flows, anatomical backgrounds, functional movement handstand flows, flexibility, and much more.
We will have lots of practice time together where we can work on your individual goals. Our intention is to create sustainability so that your handstand not only feels good in your body but more so that you are able to practice it long-term.
Lots of playtime and handstand exploration is key.
Part of the game will be technical aspects of handstands, alignment refinements, shapes and variations.
The workshop is limited to 12 people as our focus is to do quality training together.
Level: open level but mandatory physical fitness with inversion experience
Price: 55 Euro
We as teachers combine our knowledge of gymnastics, functional movement, yoga, pilates, partner acrobatics and circus arts.
Schedule:
– Prehab and warm-up drills
– Handstand training
– Conditioning
– Flexibility & mobility
Saturday (9.4.): 10.00 – 15.00
Bring snacks for the break. The studio has mats.
